Because part of the museum is outside, you'll probably spend some time in the sun watching the trains in action or even riding on one on weekends during warmer months.

Where else can you ride a train car while it sits in an air conditioned building. And the kids will love climbing in and out of the old train cars that they have seen in western movies. Great place to spend the day.
