Going to Evans was great fun, then one day they changed the kids corner they added some really gamy filthy looking throw pillows. Guess what kids do with throw pillows you guessed it and the over lenient parents did not stop their kids from the wild play that began to include us by whizzing pillows past our table. This was not an isolated incident it happened twice more so we quit going there. Also the service was good only on certain days it was not consistent. My other pet peeve was that they served few dairy type food and they outlawed cottage cheese. Done

I have eaten at Evans Kitchen numerous times and can't recommend them enough. The food is always wonderfully prepared and has a balance of creativity and home style goodness. The service is friendly and family like. I have also had Evan cater numerous events and everyone wants to know who provided the meal. If you want good food, good value, good service and to walk away feeling like your best friend just made you dinner try Evan's Kitchen.

This is one of the BEST places I have ever eaten! The service is very fast and friendly. The food is just so good. And they have a wide variety of breakfast items to choose from. It's such a friendly place. I have been to Evan's Kitchen on many occasions and I have never had a bad experience! They also serve wonderful lunch and dinner. I am always looking for new mom and pop places to try. I don't think I'll be going anywhere else for breakfast anymore. Nowhere else I have been in Sacramento compares to the oh so yummy food of Evan's Kitchen
