I'm laid back, a good friend and enjoy a good laugh. I'm pretty geeky and sarcastic. Writing a self summary is pretty difficult for me since bragging about myself is not my forte. I'm open to new things, new friends and new experiences and really believe I'm one of the friendliest people you will ever meet.

mmm a bit about myself, i was born in brooklyn, but moved to Ca about a year later, so i can technically call my self a new yorker, since then i've grown up in woodland, i like playing sports, swimming, tennis, and some tae kwon do. I've done alot from working at coachellafest, to going to panama and brasil, both beautiful places. would go again in a heart beat. down to earth person.

I'm not to sure what to say about myself right now... I like being outdoors camping,fishing, shooting, and whatever else. I like to cook and I do damn near everyday I can cook pretty much anything and love to try out new reciepes. Right now im really into the Top Chef cook book and trying the things out of there and my own creations. I'm into music and all types and I mean all Rock, Rap, Country especially, Jazz, anything that sounds good at the time.

If friends or family described me I believe they would say that I am a friendly, respectful , sincere, creative, loyal, outgoing, and honest person with a great sense of humor and a great foundation. I consider myself to be a gentleman, a leader, a hard worker, an optimist, and a straight from the heart, common sense type of guy. I would like to keep building positively on what I have gained, learned, and experienced in my life so farâ?¦I would like to meet a lady I could vibe off of and grow with, to be a better man. Iâ??m currently starting my second year in veterinary school after doing a lot of great and interesting things in my life, and taking time to figure out exactly what I wanted to do (and am now certain I was right). Hey whats going on?? Just moved to Woodland, so I'm here and lookin for some fun and excitment. The only problem is I work late at night to early mornings so it doesn't leave alot of room for sleep overs. I love the outdoors and having fun. It's been said that I'm somewhat of a walking contradiction, I'm laid back but at the same time easily excitable (not in a psycho bipolar way, but in a calmly watching the game and then launching an angry tirade condemning the Chargers to hell for once again knocking the Colts out of the playoffs way...the sons of bitches...Which most people tend to find somewhat entertaining.) i am currently attending UCD double major clinical nutrition and food management (hospitality). i grew up in the bay area SF/ daly city. im 21 years old. Love sports but can shop till i drop. i love to travel and the outdoors, but i can also be chill and stay at home and watch a movie on a rainy day. i think helping others and seeing that smile is the best feeling in the world. And im also a family girl.

I'm sure a million and one people say this but yeah.. it's my first time doing anything like this. I suck at dating, and have never really found the need to in the past. I've dated a lot of girls that I have been friends with first and have never really needed to go out and look. Well it's been awhile now and.. I'm getting lonely. No one want's to be alone, well I can't speak for everyone but I don't! Anyways, I'm not a deadbeat.. I have two jobs that I love, a car, and my own place. I have a family and friends that I love and spend time with often. When I'm not with them or at work, I'm usually out on the tennis court or playing video games. I know right, totally opposite ends of the spectrum there, but that's how I roll. I also am a TV junkie, my DVR almost always has something on it I haven't seen, and I love to see movies. I'm pretty athletic, and like to try and stay as active as I can and would like to find someone with the same mindset. I'm not gonna lie, appearance is somewhat important, there needs to be an attraction there or things just won't work. Been there done that. Sorry if I sound shallow but that's what I think. I don't look before I leap. I feel like the easiest way to figure out if something is a good decision is to make the decision and see if I was right or not. I think I'm a fairly intelligent guy, but I have a tendency to not think things through. But I'm an optimist: if you don't look before you leap, it works out half the time; the glass will always be half-full, and it's hard to have regrets when you always have a half glass staring you in the face.

I was born and raised in Nampa Idaho. I like to spend time working on my childhood friends family cattle ranch. I I enjoy spending time with my 2yr old son Joshua. its quite gratifying to be able to watch him grow and learn new things. i have him on the weekends so the weekends for me usually consist of spending lots of time at the park. im lookin for some one that has kids or really likes them.

I am into all outdoor activities, I love to Camp and go fishing/hunting as much as i can.

Recently got crazy about goin to the gym. I go religiously now.

I like dancing, hiking, board games, laughing and a plethora of other things that I can't think of right now.

Some other things I can think of:

Baking! I find baking extremely fun, especially baking with other people. It is even better when it turns into throwing whoopie pie batter at each other.

I'm still trying to find my hidden talents. Which apparently does not include blacksmithing (that was last semester's adventure). Currently I am trying to teach myself (through the internet and trial/error) how to paint. It really isn't working all that well yet, but I have faith! I also signed up for a half marathon, which is becoming a little intense because I usually don't run. In fact, for the past 10 years I have prided myself on not running or doing much exercise. I am willing to admit that I was wrong and exercise is fantastic.

I've recently noticed, many people are "Highly Turned Off" by the fact im a smoker. That's really sad that people would never want to get to know me by the fact that I smoke. I smoke approx 10 cigarettes in 1 day. Whilst that's a rate of 3,650 cigarettes in one year, which in turn is about 0.5 POUNDS of tar in that same year.

I began smoking at 16 years of age, which means that ive smoked about 14,600 cigarettes. THATS 2 POUNDS OF TAR!

Don't try to lecture me on my smoking, I like smoking, I do not plan to quit, and noone can ever make me quit.

I'm a girl who used to be a boy trying to work through college (To people that must be specific I'm transgendered). Currently work for websites and newspapers writing about Japanese culture. I love to write and I'm also a horrible person.

I like to shop for clothes too. I especially like cute clothing.

I fall into the nerd or geek category most of the time. I watch a lot of anime and do a lot of writing on that subject for school. I'm into a lot of Internet memes, because of that. I like Internet memes.

Right now, I'm a student at UC Davis, trying to get into grad school for journalism school. I'm majored in Communications and Japanese. Both majors are pretty easy for me, because I like studying them.

I haven't started transitioning with my body. I want to, but I go home to my parents too much, and my dad doesn't know yet. I do live as a girl almost 24/7 while at Davis though, but sometimes I get lazy, and then I don't shave, and then I show up to class in jeans and a t-shirt. I also like snazzy men's suits, so I might go back to wearing them too. I particularly like vests and classic neckties.

I'm poly, so even if I find someone special, I keep my options open, though usually I just love a lot of people at once. I'm kind of a loving person - except to the people I don't like. It's really one or the other sometimes.

I tutor Japanese for the department, and I'm often mistaken for a grad student because of that. If you see me in your class, give me a holler, I'll be happy to look over your papers.

Well I'm me, simply put. I dont go in for all the labels because you cant find a label that will fit you, me, the guy next door, and everybody else. I'm just me. I'm into a lot of stuff, custom motorcycles, heavy metal, piercings. But dont let that make you think I'm some hardcore metalhead burnout, I'm actually one of the most sensative guys you can meet, but anwyay back to my piercings. I'm a nerd, but the cool, sociable kind. Haha. I like the typical nerd stuff; computers, video games, star wars, etc. But I also love music. Classic Rock, new rock, prog rock, jam bands, techno (all but pop), and pretty much everything else. Oh, I also play the bass (a little bit).

I went to the University of Washington, and have a dregree in Marketing so I'm going to be really rich one day. Haha!

I studied Physics at UCD but never had any intentions of pursuing a career in that field, i just find it interesting to know why things work the way they do.

I love cars, guitars, motorcycles, all types of music and anything that involves not sitting around too much. Although the occasional night sitting around home watching a movie or something else is never out of the question. I'm pretty much open to anything.

I am a total traditionalist, a hopeless romantic. I still believe in fairytale love, as in the movies. I don't think relationships should require work. They should just WORK. Chemistry is important and a a few common interests are important. I'm not looking for a girl who enjoys frat parties and going out to the club.

I'm not a fan of organic hippie stuff. I like my meat and potatoes, however im open to any food there is. i believe ive eaten at every restarant in Davis 20x over. It would take a lot to convince me to join the peace corp, travel to a 3rd world country and build houses. I WILL donate my money to certain charities and feel good about it.

I don't drink as of August 31st 2007 for reasons i can describe to those who ask and i don't do any drugs.

i like corny jokes, i love stupid emails, i love that blackberry commercial where that guy butt dials his wife, and i love the joke about the girl being a goof, just trying to find her ball. Although i studied Phyics at UC Davis in college it really is the simplicities in life that entertain me.

Hey, how's it going? I figured I would check out this OK Cupid thing since it looks like fun and I'm interested in meeting new people. Some of my interests include theatre, karaoke, and running. I do some local community theatre, and I love it. I usually do more karaoke than I should, but I love to sing. It's one of those things in life I can't do without. I like to run about 4 days a week. Running is a great way to stay in shape, plus it doesn't require much, other than the initial "oomph" to get out the door!

I work as a computer trainer and Web developer. I like my job as I can put a lot of my own "creativity" into it. No two days are the same at work, and I love that aspect of my job.

I am a "summer" person. I love the summer time and warm to hot weather. I spend a lot of time in shorts and flip flops, cause I'm always looking forward to the next heat wave! Nothing like going for a swim during the summer heat...

i like describing myself as much as slaps to the face. besides you should never believe what someone claims about themselves over the internet. becauses i can say i am the greatest person ever but it wouldn't make a difference if you think i am a jackass in real life.

but to set the record straight i am not a jackass. i'd uber nice to elders and kids, and nice to my own age group but alot more sarcastic with a little sadistic humor at times.

I have no idea how to self-summarize...

I spend most of my time being a total goofball. I work with kids, so in the past two months, I've gotten way worse. I love art in all of its different forms. I love to laugh. I make fun of just about everything, including, and perhaps most of all, myself. I really appreciate life's simple pleasures, like: good food, fantastic conversation, late nights, sleeping in, learning, rock and roll, oreo cookies and a tall glass of two percent...

I'm still learning new things all the time.

I like to be challenged every day.

I want to meet new people! I mean, if I get a date out of this thing, then that's cool, but really, I just love to meet new people and make new and different friends.

The funny thing is, I got on this site many years ago when it was part of another site called spark.com. Does anybody remember that??? It was a guy that used to do a bunch of random experiments and then write and show pictures of them. Some were freakin disgusting...but mostly it was just funny! What happened to that site and that guy? When did this become just a dating site? I miss spark.com :(

Anyway, here's the low-down:
I am an aspiring vegan (failing miserably lately, but determined)and an aspiring artist. I care about recycling, eating organic and buying fair trade products.

I'm also something of a smart-ass. I wanted to answer "yes" to the Ethnicity question. (Oh, geez. I have to write more?) I'm kind of nice, actually. Empathetic. Cute? I don't know. I suppose it depends on your point of view. I am definitely a handful. :D

I enjoy photography, reading, a little writing, walks in natural settings (such as the state parks Arnold wants to close), comfortable camping, the ocean, and aside from being afraid of unenclosed heights, hiking on terrain that won't endanger life or limb. I also like independent movies, movies with subtitles, and date flicks, although I will break down and watch a guy movie once in a while. I love art, museums--PBS sort of stuff. Wining and dining is also good. Dancing, not so much as there is the question of grace.

I am divorced, not so recently, and have successfully retained physical custody through three (3!!) court battles I didn't initiate, not only because I'm capable and can be well-spoken when I choose, but because I'm good at strategy. I have two children over 18, not residing where I do. I am getting used to that. The last custody thing eliminated all my fundage and then some, so you need to understand I am *so* not wealthy. Nor do I expect to be. I am content to live simply, but I wouldn't mind the basics plus a few more details. (Someday, an SLR...)

I would be liberal, activist-y kind of person, except I am rather introverted and sort of shy on first, and maybe third, acquaintance. But once over that hurdle, I would like a little company. Companionship is definitely not overrated. :)

I'm an absolute Geek. Completely and totally, and proud of it! I play Dungeons and Dragons, Werewolf:The Apocalypse, 7th Sea, L5R and a host of other roleplaying games. In other areas of geekish interest, I love absolutely anything by Joss Whedon. I own all of Angel, Buffy, Serenity, and Firefly.
I was a History major at UCD, and I enjoyed it.

I was a Medieval History emphasis.

I run a bunch of games in my oh so copious spare time.

I cook. I also support CSAs, namely Farm Fresh To You. I love the taste of nummy veggies, and am contemplating adding fruit in there as well. The earlier in the cooking process I can intercept food, the happier I am.

I'm currently between jobs, waiting for the census to start up again.

My wife has a little hellspawn growing inside her. It's cute. We called it Fred. Now, we're pretty sure it's a boy, so it's name is Damian.

I spent the 70's in Wyoming, the 80's in British Columbia, the 90's in Colorado and have now settled in California. I grew up on a bee farm and have made studying and conserving the environment my focus. I'm a sucker for melody, dogs, reunions, and especially reunions involving dogs...with a soundtrack.

Seemingly eternal student, now actually trying to finish my degree so I can go wandering around the world for the rest of my life.

I tend to be too quiet, and often fear people interpret this as me being snobbish or stuck up. They probably don't, though.

I spent the last year and a half studying Japanese and living in Tokyo. I'm no where near fluent but I think I want to learn Chinese or Arabic next.

I like photography and trashy movies. I'm visually focused and have a affinity for 80s aesthetics. Also, I like fonts.
