Woodland Washington Travel

I grew up in a small farming town in the Pacific Northwest and have lived in West Washington for more than a decade. I admit that I am addicted to all the beauty and adventure that this region has to offer, and I often take for granted the natural beauty that is right on my doorstep.

If you don't have time or money for whale watching, the ferry from Bremerton to Seattle is a great way to get to the water to see the whales and have a good view of one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The sunset is the perfect time to visit the beach, so you can watch the sunset over the mountains and watch it from the comfort of your car.

If you plan to park at Eastside Trailhead and take a tour, you can take I-5 Trail back or, if you drive to Eastside, it can be diverted. There are a few other ways in Woodland Washington, one of which is mentioned by TrailBear, but I'm sure there are many more.

If you are looking for a place you want to visit, I have directions that you can find and save for future use. Choose a ride from the Woodland fleet, tell me the route you want to take And I'll give you directions to get there, as well as a list of places to visit. Let me help you make this event a night you will not forget, and let us help make it an event for the night.

If you enjoy the sea and have perhaps never seen it, Woodland is close where you can enjoy it. If you're looking for a beach just a few blocks from the city of Olympia and the Seattle skyline, Burfoot Park in Olympia is your beach. You can walk the path that runs through the park and enjoy the best views of Seattle's skyline that you'll find in the early morning and late evening hours of the day.

There are some well-kept secret types of hikes that you may enjoy, but it takes a bit more effort to get there and is probably worth exploring. However, you should not try every hike on this list, but examine each hike carefully before planning. There are many great walks in Woodland Washington that I will include here , some of which are probably not as popular as others, but worth a look.

Of course, your unique interests will determine the museum you want to visit, but one that I highly recommend is the Museum of the Escape. The zoo and aquarium here are pretty impressive, and one of my favorite places to see the animals is the zoo itself, which is a great place to get up close and personal with wildlife. If you are in town during the Christmas season, you can visit the Lights Park and see it completely lit up with Christmas lights. It is not only a museum, it also has a zip line, so it is a great place for children and adults alike.

You can see old planes, learn about the space shuttle, try flying an airplane with a flight simulator, and join a flock of birds while practicing dynamic wings in an interactive video game.

The rainforest of the Olympic Peninsula is a beautiful walk that takes your breath away and this hike makes the adventure even more fun. Although not as big as Snoqualmie Falls, these waterfalls are very beautiful and if you are looking for a hike to a waterfall, the Twin Falls and Wallace Falls are great opportunities.

We have two state parks here and the trail is anchored at the western end, but construction is still needed at the eastern end of the park. TB would have fallen by the wayside here, and we have had to anchor that path in the West in recent years.
